Dice, train seat, Shuwa Originally uploaded by angrydicemoose.

The weekend started pretty slow, I was attempting to mind meld with my furniture (read:floor). On Sunday, I met up with Shuwa who just got married earlier in the month (wedding in Shanghai next April) and was heading back to Shanghai. On Monday, we went out and got him and his wife to get them a laptop for home/travel use. They decided to get a 14inch iBook and I helped them set it up and upgrade the RAM in it. Went to dinner at Lawry's (Japanese). . .heavy.

Dinner at Lawry's was the usual meat and potatoes fest. Had too much prime rib, mashed potatos, creamed spinach and garlic rice like usual. I also learned that they were planning to open stores in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The cherry pie I had for dessert wasn't bad, but a bit of a let down after the wonderful meal.

One of the more interesting parts of the whole Lawry's experience was that Charles Jenkins was seated a few tables away. It was just him and a few other white folk, perhaps they were discussing his book about defecting to North Korea. Happy to see that he was doing well enough to be able to take the red, red, red meat that Lawry's serves up.</span>
